1. Installing and operating instructions
1.1 Safety instructions
•
When installing and commissioning the EMA, always follow the accompanying documents exactly.
•
The device may only be installed and set up by authorized persons.
•
While installing, follow the EMC regulations.
•
To ensure the equipment cooling, a space of at least one rack unit above and below the EMA must to be provided.
•
The device is provided to be installed on support rails in a 19“ cabinet.
•
All installation and cable connection are only allowed when the EMA is disconnected from the power supply.
•
Follow the provisions of DIN EN 50083, in particular, DIN EN 60728-11 [1] regarding safety must not be ignored.
•
The device are delivered under protection classification

. It is absolutely necessary to insert the mains plug into a
fused
socket.
•
Warning
When connecting external video sources that do not match the ground potential of the EMA, potential differences
can cause hum noise (potential equalization or potential separation necessary).
