2. Basic Safety Instructions
2.1 Users obligation
To work independently with the Bevel Milling Machine only persons can be entrusted, who
have

read and understood the Operation Manual

a corresponding qualification in using the tools
It is imperative to the user not to endanger himself and other persons.
Is the in-operation-safety of the Bevel Milling Machine reduced through any defects or
damages, the machine is to be stopped immediately and only to be restarted until all
sources of danger are removed.
2.2 Dangers in Using the Bevel Milling Machine
The following safety instructions make in principle statements to possible dangers during operating the
Bevel Milling Machine. These Instructions are to be followed imperatively by the operating crew.
Main plug is always to be drawn before any work (cleaning, change of tools) at the Bevel
Milling Machine.
To protect health always wear safety goggles during operation.
Pay attention to a sufficient securing against slipping of the work piece in operation (clamp
work piece!)
Before starting, all safety devices are to be checked on proper function.
Pay attention to a sufficient lighting while operating the Bevel Milling Machine.
Check machine before and after operating on damages.
To protect health ear protection is necessary.
Appropriate and close-fitting work-wear is to be worn while operating the machine.
Pay attention to heat accumulation at contact spot of tool.
As sound level exceeds 85db (A) at the work place, ear protection is to be worn!
