CASSETTE PLAYER
(
fig. 1
)
Your radio is fitted with a cassette player
for hearing magnetic tapes.
It has an Autoreverse function which
makes it possible to listen to both sides of
the tape without having to turn over the cas-
sette.
Cassette insertion and ejection are facili-
tated by a powered mechanism.
Selecting the cassette player
To turn the cassette player on, even when
the set if off, insert the cassette in the slot
(
4
) with the tape facing rightwards. If the
cassette is already in, turn the set on then
briefly and repeatedly press the “
SRC
” but-
ton (
6
) to select the “
CASSETTE
” func-
tion.
Playing a cassette
After turning on the cassette player, the
tape begins playing automatically and the
display shows “
CASSETTE
” for about 2.5
seconds. Then the display shows either
“
SIDE A
” or “
SIDE B
” depending on
which side is playing. When the cassette is
inserted, the player starts playing side 1 of
the tape.
If the cassette is inserted, the display
shows the wording “
CC-IN
”, which re-
mains on the display even when different
operating modes are chosen (Radio or CD-
Changer). The symbol goes off after ejec-
tion of the cassette.
