BEFORE USING
THE BLENDER
After having taken the blender out of
its packaging, check that it is in perfect
condition.
• Remove and wash all washable
components with hot water and
washing-up liquid: dosage cap, lid
with seal and pitcher. (fig. 2)
Be careful when washing the
graduated pitcher as there are
blades inside it. Don’t touch them
with the fingers because you could
cut yourself.
• To remove any dust, wipe the
motor unit ONLY with a damp
cloth (fig. 2)
HOW TO REASSEMBLE
THE BLENDER
• Fit the graduated pitcher, including
the blades, onto the motor unit
making sure that the attachment of
the safety system of the pitcher’s
handle fits to the attachment on
the motor unit.
• Check that the pitcher is properly
assembled onto the motor unit
• Fit the lid onto the pitcher making
sure that the attachment of the
lid’s safety system fits to the safety
system of the pitcher’s handle.
Finally fit the dosage cap back on.
(fig.3)
• Check well that the lid and the
pitcher’s handle are properly
assembled.
ATTENTION!
DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE
THE BLADES FROM THE
GRADUATED PITCHER.
THE PITCHER AND THE BLADES
ARE ONE SINGLE BLENDER
COMPONENT.
SAFETY!
ATTENTION: THE SAFETY
LOCK SYSTEM, PREVENTS THE
BLENDER FROM WORKING,
EVEN IF IT’S CONNECTED TO
THE SOCKET. THE MOTOR
UNIT, THE GRADUATED
PITCHER AND THE LID MUST
BE PERFECTLY ASSEMBLED.
IF THE LID OR THE ENTIRE
PITCHER IS LIFTED, EVEN
ACCIDENTALLY, WHILE THE
BLENDER IS IN OPERATION, IT
WILL STOP AUTOMATICALLY
BECAUSE THE SAFETY DEVICE
STOPS THE MOTOR.
While the blender is operating:
• Don’t interfere with the blade’s
movement.
• Don’t remove the pitcher’s lid.
• Don’t insert any tool inside the
pitcher.
ATTENTION!
IN ORDER TO PREVENT THE
BLENDER FROM TOPPLING
OVER, DO NOT LET THE CABLE
HANG FROM THE WORK SURFACE.
• Place the blender on a flat, stable
surface, away from any flammable
materials.
• Remove the lid and put the food
to be mixed into the pitcher.
• Put the lid back onto the pitcher
and insert the dosage cap.
To insert the dosage cap on the lid,
match the tabs on the walls of the
cap with the grooves on the hole in
the lid. Once inserted, turn the cap
clockwise to complete the closure
(fig.5). The dosage cap can be used
both to easily dose the ingredients
as well as to introduce them into the
pitcher when the blender is operating.
• Before pouring hot liquid ingredients
into the graduated pitcher, let them cool.
Be careful not to burn yourself.
There are 5 speeds on the blender’s
control knob :
•
the “0” position corresponds to
ON/OFF.
•
the “1” to “5” position corresponds
to the operating speed
(see table).
•
the “P” position corresponds to
the Pulse function
(intermittent
operation).
Operating speed
1-3
for liquid ingredients
3-5
compact ingredients, for
mixing liquid and solid
ingredients
P
intermittent (the switch
doesn’t lock into this position.
Hold the switch or turn it
repeatedly into position “P”).
USING THE BLENDER
• Unwind the supply cable from its
cable winder. Adjust the length
that is needed to reach the power
socket and insert the plug. (fig. 4)
