MEASURING
Key rules for accurate measurement:
• Always take readings at the same time of day, ideally in the
morning, under the same conditions.
• Do not measure within 30 minutes
after smoking, coffee or tea
consumption.
• While taking a measurement,
sit down, relax, keep still, do not
move or speak.
• Wait approximately 3 minutes
before repeating a measurement.
Take measurements:
At any time, to stop the pressurizing process, press button
;
the cuff will stop inflating and air will exhaust from the unit.
1. Press button
to switch-ON the BDM-150 and wait until
the display stops flashing.
2. Use button to select whether the measuring results will
be stored in memory 1 (
) or in memory 2 ( ).
3. Press button
START
to activate the measurements
- the cuff will inflate automatically (a ‘P’ on the display)
- when the required pressure is reached, the cuff will deflate
and the bloodpressure is measured
- after detecting the systolic, the diastolic and the pulse, the
measured values will be displayed on the LCD and will be
stored in the selected memory (
or )
4. Press button
to switch-OFF the BDM-150.
MEMORY
The measuring results are automatically stored in memory,
including the time and date of the concerning measurement.
1. Use button to select memory
or memory .
2. By repeatedly pressing button
, the results of previous
measurements will come on the display.
The memory-capacity is 60 measurements, 30 for memory
and 30 for memory .
