Important safeguards

Read this manual thoroughly before first use, even if you are familiar with this type

of product. The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of fire, electric

shock and injury when correctly adhered to. Keep the manual in a safe place for future

reference, along with the completed warranty card, purchase receipt and carton. If

applicable, pass these instructions on to the next owner of the appliance. Always follow

basic safety precautions and accident prevention measures when using an electrical

appliance, including the following:

Electrical safety and cord handling

•

Before turning on the handheld fabric steamer, ensure your electrical voltage and

circuit frequency correspond to those indicated on the rating label of the appliance.

•

To provide continued protection against the risk of electric shock, connect the

appliance to a properly installed electrical outlet only. Never force the charger plug

into an outlet.

•

Do not use an extension cord or electrical outlet with inadequate current-carrying

capacity.

•

To reduce the risk of electrocution, never operate this product with wet hands. Never

immerse it in water.

•

Protect the power cord. Do not kink or damage the power cord. Do not pull or carry

the handheld fabric steamer by the cord. Do not use the cord as a handle, close a

door on the cord, or pull the cord around sharp edges or corners. Keep the cord away

from heated surfaces.

•

If the power supply cord or plug is damaged, do not use the appliance. A damaged

cord or plug must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or appropriately

qualified personnel in order to avoid a hazard.

•

Do not leave the appliance unattended while connected to the power supply.

•

Turn off the switch and unplug the electrical cord when not in use and before

servicing. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
