−Always work perpendicular to the slope and never
work up or down a slope.
−Be especially careful when changing the direction of
travel on the slope.
−Never work on excessively steep slopes.
−Switch the scarifier off and pull the mains plug.
−Wait until the roller has come to a full stop before you
remove any blockages or obstructions in the discharge
opening.

NOTICE!
Over time, a layer of plant debris consisting of stems,
branches or moss will collect on your lawn. You should
scarify your lawn twice a year to remove them. You
should mow your grass beforehand. Early in the year
and late summer are ideal times to scarify your lawn.
The ground will have thawed and had enough time to
recover from the winter. You should scarify lawns with a
thick layer of stems, branches or moss lengthwise and
crosswise. Make sure that the soil does not dry out. You
should adjust the height if you intend to transport the
scarifier. You can also use the height adjustment mecha-
nism to determine the scarifying depth for your lawn. By
factory default, the scarifier is set to a cutting depth of 3
mm.
