Starting Up
1. Set up the pump on flat and firm ground.
2. Attach the intake line ready for use.
3. Unscrew the water filler cap (1) and remove the
coarse filter (2) together with the non-return
valve (3) (Fig B).
NOTE: If the filter and non-return valve does not
lift out of the pump, remove the water intake
screw (7) (Fig C) and gently push the valve
outward using a flat shaped pusher of approx
20mm diameter. (Fig D).
4. Replace the water intake screw (7) at the
bottom now before proceeding. Now you can
fill the pump housing with water. Filling the
intake line accelerates the priming process.
5. Assemble in reverse order.
6. Plug into the mains using in conjunction an
RCD (Residual Current Device) as suggested.
7. Depending on the suction height and the
amount of air in the intake line, priming can
take anywhere between 30 seconds and 5
minutes. If it takes longer than this, the pump
should be refilled with water.
8. If the pump is removed again after use, it must
always be refilled with water whenever it is
connected and used again.
