8.2.2 PLASMA TORCH
The plasma torch fitted as standard is compatible with industry standard type
PT31. Consumable items such as torch head, electrodes, distributors, tips and
shrouds are available from specialist welding outlets, on line or Action Spares
through our after sales support number 1300777137.
NOTE:
The torch head, electrode, distributor, tip and shroud are consumable
items and will require regular replacement.
WARNING!
Before changing
consumables turn the power
on/off switch (9) to OFF,
disconnect the unit form the
mains supply and air supply.
Allow sufficient time for the
plasma torch to cool.
WARNING!
Dangerous
voltages are contained
within the cutting torch
while cutting. DO NOT use
the torch if the torch or the
cable are damaged. Replace
them immediately!
Replace Electrode when it is
worn approximately
1.5-2mm.
The other components should
be replaced as required.
