Using the trimmer
NOTICE!
Keep in mind that the trimmer always gen-
erates a straight cutting edge. If you do not
want a straight cutting edge, you must hold
the shaver at an angle.
For hard-to-reach areas or for very precise
cuts, use a comb to check the hair you in-
tend to trim with the trimmer and the cut
length.
Use the trimmer as follows:
1. Move the trimmer 19 all the way out until it audibly
locks into place (see fig. D ).
2. Use the electronic On/Off switch

to turn the
shaver on (see fig. A ).
3. Slowly guide the trimmer up to the hair you intend
to cut.
4. Always use short strokes to cut your hair.
5. Switch the shaver off by pushing the electronic
On/Off switch twice.
6. Clean the shaver as described in the chapter
“Daily cleaning after a wet shave” or “Daily cleaning
after a dry shave”.
