Establishing Connections
Access the newly installed 7450 ESS two ways:
• Console Connection on page 67
• Telnet Connection on page 69
Console Connection
To establish a console connection, you will need the following:
• An ASCII terminal or a PC running terminal emulation software set to the parameters
shown in the table below.
• A standard serial cable with a female DB9 connector.
For pinout information, refer to Appendix B: Pinout Assignments on page 87 .
