4.3 Switch to Channel Mode and back to VFO mode
Switch the radio off. Press and hold [MR] while switching the radio on again.
This procedure can toggle from VFO into Channel mode and back to VFO mode.
This procedure only works if you have stored frequencies as channels before.
Channels for the Channel mode can also be stored or changed with the PC programming
procedure.
4.4 Transmission of 1750 Tone for Repeater Access
When user wants to use the radio via repeater stations, the repeater may require a tone calling
procedure to start operation. In Europe, especially in Germany, repeaters often need a 1750 Hz
tone burst or an always present CTCSS tone. The repeater operators supply further information.
To transmit a 1750 Hz signal press and hold [CALL] key for more than 1 second.

Indicators flashes red and sending the signal .
1750 Tone can act as an emergency call as well, because the 1750 Hz tone is easily to hear
as alarm tone..
Press PTT to stop the emergency call.
