6. Operation
AUTOMATIC PAY-OUT (default): slip into the acceptor slot the note to be exchanged in coins or
tokens: the machine will pay-out through hopper n.1 (1.00 $); if hopper n.1 is/gets empty, pay-out
takes place through hopper n. 2.
MANUAL PAY-OUT (max. changeable value per pay-out = 100 $): slip into the acceptor slot the
note to be exchanged in coins or tokens: the display will show the corresponding credit, as well as
the available coin values; use the buttons by the display side to choose the desired coins: the
relevant hopper will pay out your change.
NOTICE: the User will be able to choose his change coins only if the machine has been preset for
MANUAL MODE. When placing your order for the HAMMER 2, it is recommended that you
express such preference, as well as your preferred Key Mode: the machine shall then be delivered
already preset for Manual Mode, and the signs on the buttons will be consistent with your wished
Key Mode: ‘OK’ and ‘
↑↓
’ in case of Scroll Mode, or the preset values in case of Straight Mode.
It remains anyway possible to set up later the Pay-out Mode and the Keys Mode (SCROLL MODE
or STRAIGHT MODE) as you wish - see 7.2.4
PERIPHERAL UNITS SET UP

If there are not enough coins in the hopper to fulfil the whole exchange request, the remaining credit
shall be displayed and retained in memory.
If an interruption occurs because of power breakdown or switch-off, the remaining credit shall be
displayed at switch-on and paid out.
7. System configuration

If any variation is made, it will be possible to restore the default configuration as follows:
enter the initial menu, scroll by UP and DOWN keys and choose
RESTORE DEFAULT CONFIGURATION
then press OK; the message

NOTICE: the
RESTORE DEFAULT CONFIGURATION
command resets the default PIN code (0000)
