1.2. Features
• Dual 3G/HD/SD-SDI digital video to DVI digital video converter.
• Includes two sections, each of which provides:
- One BNC electrical interface for 3G/HD/SD-SDI digital video configurable as an input
or output.
- One optical interface using an optional SFP module for 3G/HD/SD-SDI digital video
configurable as an input or output depending upon the module installed.
- One DVI digital video output that can carry two audio channels.
- One unbalanced analog stereo audio headphone output.
• Each section can be configured to accept the signal from any of the SDI interfaces that
the module provides.
• Electrical and optical interfaces can be configured to output the processed signal as
long as they are not used as inputs.
• Accepts the following formats: 576i50, 486i59.94, 720p50, 720p59.94, 1080i50,
1080i59.94, 1080p50 and 1080p59.94.
• Measures and displays true peak level and short-term loudness on-screen as per EBU
Tech. 3341 for the audio channels present in the video signal. Also measures and
displays phase correlation between the two channels for each audio pair.
• Extracts timecode information in VITC or ATC format from the video signal and displays
it on-screen.
• Allows selection of the audio pair for insertion into DVI, of the audio pair to be sent to
the headphone output and level adjustment for both.
• Section A includes a frame buffer that allows output signal continuity to be maintained
when the input signal is interrupted.
• Allows delaying of the video signal to show horizontal and vertical blanking.
• Module control and supervision can be done remotely from a computer via USB.
• Provides 16 presets for module configuration storage. Four of these can be restored
using the four included GPIs.
• Module control and supervision can be done remotely from a PC through a USB port.
• The unit is supplied with a 110-240 VAC power adapter.
• Fanless design.
• Wide operating temperature range.
• Low power.
