1.2. Features
• Gateway for DVB transport stream (TS) signals.
• Provides four inputs: two DVB-ASI and two DVB over IP (UDP or RTP with and without
FEC) and four outputs: two DVB-ASI and two DVB over IP.
• Each DVB-ASI output is distributed to two BNC connectors.
• All DVB over IP streams are received and transmitted on the same RJ-45 connector.
• Each DVB transport stream input can be routed to one or more outputs.
• Can operate as an automatic switch using the following failure detection criteria:
- Signal presence.
- Frame synchronization.
- Megaframe synchronization (only in DVB-T mode).
• Provides three modes of operation: Automatic, Semiautomatic and Manual.
• Provides an external fault indication GPI input for each of the signal sources. GPIO lines
can also be used to restore presets when they are configured as inputs or as fault
indicators when they are configured as outputs.
• Provides the following front panel indicators:
- Failure in the Transport Stream inputs.
- Ethernet interface status.
- Operating mode.
- Selected input for each output.
- Changes in the failure status of the inputs or changes in the selected input, the latter
can be acoustic.
• Module control and supervision can be done remotely when the mounting frame is
equipped with a communications controller module.
• One UR3000 mounting frame can house up to 12 AGW3000C01 modules. If power
supply redundancy is required and FA3000 or FA3001 modules are used then only 10
modules can be housed in the mounting frame. If PSU3300 or PSU3301 modules are
used for this purpose then up to 12 modules can be installed.
• One UR3100 mounting frame can house up to three AGW3000C01 modules.
• Low power.
