IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
19. Keep the appliance away from any hot surfaces and open flames.
Protect the appliance against heat and cold, dust, direct sunlight,
moisture, dripping and splashing water.
20. For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device
(RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA
is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your
installer for advice.
21. Do not pull the power plug out of the electrical outlet by the power
cord, only by the power plug, and do not wrap the power cord around
the appliance.
22. Connect the power plug to an easily reachable electrical outlet
so that in case of an emergency the appliance can be unplugged
immediately. Pull the power plug out of the electrical outlet to
completely switch off the appliance. Use the power plug as the
disconnection device.
23. Disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet when not in use
and before cleaning.
24. Always turn the appliance off before disconnecting the power plug.
25. Should the appliance fall into water, unplug the power plug first
before reaching into the water.

Make sure that no objects like hair clips or hair pins
are inserted into the appliance. These can cause a short-circuit.
27. Do not use the appliance barefoot.
28. Do not leave the appliance unattended, if it is in use or the
power plug is connected to an electrical outlet.
29. Always switch off the appliance, if you put it down during
use.

Parts of the appliance become very hot
during use. Hold the appliance by its handle only.
31. During use, do not use hair spray, water vaporizers or other
vaporizers close to the appliance. Only use them when the appliance
is switched off and the power plug is disconnected.
