BEFORE FIRST USE
• Remove all packaging materials and retain for future use.
Warning!
Packaging materials are not a toy. Children should not play with the packaging materials, as they
pose a risk of swallowing and suffocation!
• Check for the presence of all parts and for transport damage. In case of damages or incomplete delivery, please
contact your dealer ( Guarantee).
• Place the appliance on a flat, level and heat-resistant surface.
• Open the lid (1).
• Fill the water tank (3) with water until the
Max
marking on the water gauge (4) is reached.
• Close the lid (1) until it locks into place.
• Place the glass carafe (15) on the warming plate (7).
• Connect the power plug (6) to a suitable electrical outlet.
• Press the
on/off
button (10). The operation indicator (9) lights up red, indicating that the brewing process has
started.
• After all water has run through the coffee maker, press the
on/off
button (10) again. The operation indicator (9)
turns off. The appliance is now switched off.
• Let the coffee maker cool for at least five minutes.
• Remove the glass carafe (15) from the warming plate (7). Hold it only by the handle.
Danger of burns!
• Discard the water from the first four boiling cycles to remove any residues from the manufacturing process.
• Clean the appliance ( Cleaning and care).

Note:
Due to the manufacturing process, the appliance may emit some odour when switched on for the first time.
This is normal and does not indicate any defect or hazard.
OPERATION
Making coffee
Caution!
• Before switching on the coffee maker, always fill it with water. We recommend the use of softened
or filtered water to avoid the build-up of scales.
• Never let the water level exceeding the
Max
marking to avoid hot water spilling out during boiling.
Danger of burns!
• Do not brew coffee when the water level is below the minimum marking of two small cups.
• Open the lid (1) and fill in proper amount of water, according to the number of desired cups of coffee. The number
of cups is displayed on the water gauge (4). You can brew up to 10 large or 12 small cups of coffee.
• Insert the paper filter holder (16) and permanent filter (17) into the coffee maker. Or insert a paper filter size 1x4
into the paper filter holder (16) and fold the edges back if the permanent filter (17) is not using. Make sure that the
paper filter holder (16) is inserted with the guide facing the back, in order to fit into the groove in the coffee maker.
• Add desired amount of ground coffee into the permanent filter (17).
• Close the lid (1) until it locks into place.
• Place the glass carafe (15) on the warming plate (7).
Note:
The coffee maker comes with a drip-stop system, which prevents coffee from dripping out of the
paper filter holder (16) if you remove the glass carafe (15) during brewing for a short while. Ensure to
replace the carafe (15) within 30 seconds, otherwise the coffee might overflow on the top of the coffee
maker.
• Connect the power plug (6) to a suitable electrical outlet. The display (8) lights
up blue with “
” flashing continuously on it (fig. 1).

• Press the
on/off
button (10). “
” stops flashing and becomes steady on the
display (8) (fig. 2). Meanwhile, the operation indicator (9) lights up red, indicating
that the brewing process has started.

• After brewing, the glass carafe (15) with coffee can remain on the warming plate (7) to keep the coffee warm if you
