CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the water tank
•
The water usually does not need to be changed if the appliance is used frequently. In some cases, we
recommend to replace the water inside the tank (6) with fresh, clean water:
– In case that water was left for a long time in the water tank (6) without operating the appliance.
– In case the appliance is not used very frequently and the surrounding temperatures are high. Water tends
to deteriorate easily in summer.
•
Always empty the water tank (6):
– Before storage.
– When the appliance is not going to be used for a prolonged period of time.
•
Use a sponge and a mild detergent to clean the water tank (6).
•
Dry the water tank (6) with a dry cloth.
•
Do not use petrol, alcohol or other corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, or metal or sharp
objects to clean the tank.

Storage

If you do not plan to use the unit for a long period of time, remove all water from the water tank (6). Clean the
water tank and the humidifier belt (12).
•
The power cord (11) can be wound around the cord storage (8).
•
After cleaning: Operate the unit in normal fan mode with the cooling function switched off for approximately
30 to 60 minutes. This will dry the interior and prevent mold growth.
•
Store the appliance in a cool, dry and clean place, preferably in its original package.
