4.2 Spark
Plug
There are excessive carbon depositions on the spark plug electrodes so that the gasoline engine
runs abnormally. It is therefore required to regularly maintain and adjust spark plug. Generally it
is required to adjust and maintain spark plugs once per one year or working time of 100 hours.
Steps for maintenance and adjustment:
a.
Remove the spark plug;
b.
Clear off the dirt near the electrodes such as carbon depositions;
c.
Adjust the clearance of electrodes to 0.6
～
0.7mm;
d.
Fit and fasten the spark plugs.
4.3
Air Filter
Check air filter everyday. If the engine is still being used when the air filter is damaged, the
engine units will be probably damaged seriously. Particular care shall be taken for this instruction
if the engine works in extreme dust conditions; when dirt and sands enter the engine, cylinder
body and pistons will wear more quickly.
Note:
Do not operate a machine without air filter. Otherwise the engine will be damaged.
Do not
clean air filters using thinner, fuel or gasoline.
