16. Media
PVR. “HARD DRIVE RECORDER”
To allow recordings of Digital TV programmes, the USB connector is enabled to allow connection of a PC Hard
Drive (HDD) or USB Stick memory over 2 G bytes.
Before you can record, the Media Memory must be formatted. In general New memory media should be
formatted correctly. FAT32 is the required formatt. Both HDD and USB Memory stick must be formatted.
Note :- It is wise to used “Dedicated” media memory for the PVR. AKURA accepts NO responsiblity for any
data lost from any media device plugged into this TV under ANY circumstances.

Media Playback.
Ensure that a Media Memory storage device is connected to the
TV.
Press the “SOURCE/INPUT button to display the Source menu.
Use the
▲
/
▼
buttons to select MEDIA and press OK. Fig 40 will
be displayed.
Use the
◄
/
►
buttons to select the required medium and press Ok
Fig 41 will be displayed. This shows the Media is connected and
operational. Press OK.
Fig 42 will be displayed. Use the
▲
/
▼
buttons to select the media
type required and press OK. The selected Media
MUST
match
the item selected in fig 40 , e.g Video selected in Fig 40 must
match PVR in fig 42

Movie Playback.
Select PVR and press OK.
Fig 40 will be displayed. Use the
▲
/
▼
buttons to select the
programme required and press OK.
The programme will now start playing.
Playback Controls.
Play/Pause. Press to play, press again to Pause, press
again resume playback.
Press to Stop playback.
Press to select the Previous track or file.
Press to select the Next track or file.
Press to fast Rewind. Each press will increase the speed
x2, x4, x8, x20 x0
Press to fast Forward. Each press will increase the speed
x2, x4, x8, x20 x0
