8. Maintenance and clearing of standing frame DALMATIAN
Standing frame DALMATIAN as an individual use orthopaedic
supply and medical device should be maintained clean and used
according to the producer’s instruction. The device should be stored
in a clean, dry and aired room.
Maintenance and cleaning must be carried out minimum once a
month. Regular cleaning and maintenance of DALMATIAN is
necessary to keep the device in good, working and safe condition.
Maintenance of construction and upholstery
- make sure all wooden parts are complete, without signs of wear off
and splinters.
- check if all movable parts work in full extend, all screws and nuts
are tight and nothing is missing
- check safety belts if the clips are working and the belts are not
damaged
- check the table (smoothness of surface, sharp corners, lac varnish
damage, cleanness)
- little dirt of wooden construction can be removed with wet sponge.
After cleaning the surface must be dried.
- in case the upholstery, try to remove the stains as soon as possible.
Stains shouldn’t be rubbed off but dried with a paper towel, clean, soft
cloth or tissue. Stain should be removed with a cloth soaked in gentle
detergent diluted in warm water. Remove the stain working from
outside towards inside.
