Turning off the
power after a
specified time
(TIMER)
You can set your Portable IC Audio Player to turn
off automatically after a certain period of time.

Press the MENU button.
The menu screen is displayed.

Rotate the Shuttle switch to select
“TIMER:” and press the
Nx
button to
confirm.

“TIMER: ON” and press the

button to confirm.

“TIMER: 30,” “60,” “90,” “120” or
“10” and press the
Nx button to
confirm.

Press the MENU button.
To check the time length until the Player is
turned off
Press and hold the MENU button.
To cancel the timer
Carry out step1 to 3 and select “TIMER: OFF” in step 3.
To cancel the menu mode
Select [RETURN] in the menu screen or press the MENU
button.

Tip
When the timer is activated, the OPERATION lamp
blinks in green even if the OPERATION lamp is set to
“OFF” (see page 29).
