Adjusting the settings of your Portable IC Audio Player
Switching to the manual
mode

Press the MENU button.
The menu screen is displayed.

Rotate the Shuttle switch to select
“VOL: SET.”

Press the Nx button to confirm.
“SET >” blinks.

Rotate the Shuttle switch to select
“MAN.”

Press the Nx button to confirm.

Press the MENU button.
The display returns to the normal screen.
With this setting, you can adjust the volume
level by rotating the Shuttle switch.

* “xx” stands for numeric values of the
volume level.

Set volume levels of three preset levels:
LO, MID, or HI.

Pull and rotate the Shuttle switch to set
the volume level of the LO preset.

Return the shuttle swith to the original
position and rotate the Shuttle switch to
select “VOL MID xx,” and then pull and
rotate the Shuttle switch to set the volume
level of the MID preset.

Return the shuttle swith to the original
position and rotate the Shuttle switch to
select “VOL HI xx,” and then pull and
rotate the Shuttle switch to set the volume
level of the HI preset.

Press the Nx button to confirm.

Press the MENU button.
The display returns to the normal screen.
With these settings, you can adjust the
volume level to any of three preset levels:
LO, MID, or HI.
To cancel the menu mode
Select [RETURN] in the menu screen or press the MENU
button.
Note
If AVLS (page 26) is set, the actual volume may be lower
than the settings.
