Connect the tape drive and the computer using the
supplied interface cable.
Note
The slots in the fixing screws of the interface
connectors are for undoing the connectors with
a screwdriver or coin, if they are too tight to
undo by hand. Fasten the connector screws by
hand. If it is necessary for any reason to use a
screwdriver or coin, be very careful not to
overtighten the screws. If overtightened, it may
become impossible to disconnect the cable.

Connect the AC power cord to an AC outlet (120V AC,
60Hz).
