Setting the Clock Manually
You must set the date and time for timer recordings.

– to set AUTO ADJUST to ON or
OFF, then press OK/ENTER.
• The unit automatically corrects the clock setting once
you set AUTO ADJUST to ON. After unpacking the
unit, AUTO ADJUST is set to ON.
• When the clock cannot be set correctly by Auto set-
up, we recommend to select OFF to avoid
malfunction.

Set the hours using the numeric buttons.
• When selecting a number less than 10, press 0 to
enter the tens digit and then press the buttons 1
through 9 to enter the ones digit.
• You can also select the hour using

• Please note the unit uses a 24-hour clock. e.g. 1pm
will be displayed as 13:00.

• The day of the week will appear automatically when
you enter the year.

Notes
• The date can be set from A.D. 2001 to A.D. 2100.
• When the unit is turned off and accepts PDC/VPS
information, the unit automatically corrects the clock
anytime.
• The automatic clock adjusting function does not work in
the following cases.
- watching or recording a TV program without PDC/VPS
information
- TV station does not send or send wrong PDC/VPS
information
