2.11 Notes for branching piping
•
Always install line branch pipes to make either “vertical branching” or “horizontal branching” for both
vapor and liquid lines.
•
Always install header branch pipes to make “horizontal branching” for both vapor and liquid lines.
CAUTION
when connecting the branch pipe, do not bend
the main pipe near the connection. If such
bending is unavoidable, provide a minimum fo
150 mm. Of straight portion. However, do not
use a bent pipe with external diameter of ø
28.6 or larger.

Do not perform another branching after the
header branching.
•
When performing header branching, connect
the crimp pipe (max 100 mm. from the port) in
accordance with the number of indoor units
connected.
