INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Installation Safety
Trouble-free operation and product reliability is only guaranteed by warranty if
the original accessories and spare parts intended for the appliance are used.
Observe all applicable national and local regulations and instructions including
NFPA 70, National Electric Code.
Intended Use / Installation Location:
This electric wall heater is suitable as a supplementary heat source in small,
dry, residential areas such as living spaces, work rooms, etc.
The appliance is not intended for installation outdoors or in wet locations such
as bathrooms, washrooms, etc. Do not install or use this appliance in wet or
outdoor locations.
This appliance is only intended for use on its supplied mounting bracket for
wall installation. Do not install or use this appliance apart from the provided
bracket.

Note: Fasteners to secure the Wall Mounting Bracket to the wall are NOT
provided. Proper fastener selection is to be determined by mounting wall
construction. Secure fasteners must withstand 30 pounds of pull-force once
installed.

Only fit the appliance to a vertical wall that is heat-
resistant to at least 194°F (90°C).
•
Maintain minimum clearance to adjacent surfaces as
charted in Figure 2.
•
Do not block openings for air flow as depicted in
Figure 5 (Page 4).
APPLIANCE MOUNTING
•
Position wall bracket on a vertical wall according to the dimensions shown
in Figure 3 (Page 4). Ensure that minimum clearances will be met after
final installation according to Figure 2.
•
Secure wall bracket to vertical wall with suitable fasteners (not provided).
Secure fasteners must withstand 30 pounds of pull-force once installed.
•
Hang the appliance onto the wall bracket such that all four bracket hooks
are fully seated into heater slots as shown in Figure 4 (Page 4).
•
Corded Installation Models (SEHCB/SEHCW): Secure appliance in place
with four #8 thumb screws as shown. (See Figure 4)
•
Hard-Wired Installation Models (SEHNB/SEHNW): Secure appliance in
place with four standard #8 screws as shown, using split lock washers
provided. (See Figure 4)
