This chapter describes the steps to install the required drivers and the
Wireless 11Mbps
Configuration Tool
for properly operating the 802.11b Wireless LAN P3 PCMCIA Card on your
computer. Please follow the steps listed below carefully to assure a successful installation.
2.1 Installation Procedures
a) Insert the 802.11b Wireless LAN P3 PCMCIA Card to your computer’s PCMCIA slot.
b) The
Found New Hardware
message box will appear once the system detected the insertion
of the Card. Click
Cancel
to ignore it.

c) Put the supplied CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive, and the startup window will appear
automatically. If it does not, double click the
Autorun.exe
icon in the CD’s directory to awake
the Setup Wizard manually.
d) In the startup window, click
Install Driver
to start the installation.
