Slot Configuration : After closing the scanning window, the following screen
should appear:
Click on the
re46-profinet and then on the API -Node to open the details of the
I/O-Configuration.
The
API consists of up to 7 entries:

DAP (Data Access Point) - The fieldbus access of the device

Slot#1 - Solenoid 01-08 (valve outputs)

Slot#2 - Solenoid 09-16 (valve outputs)

Slot#3 - Solenoid 17-24 (valve outputs)

Slot#4 - Solenoid 25-32 (valve outputs)

Slot#5 - Solenoid 33-40 (valve outputs)

Slot#6 - Solenoid 41-48 (valve outputs)
Depending on the size of your RE-46 PROFINET the number of outputs will dif-
fer:
HINTS:
For valve terminals with 1-8 valve stations

2 modules (Slots) with 1 submodule
for valve terminals with 9-16 valve stations

4 modules (Slots) with 1 submodule
for valve terminals with 17-24 valve stations

6 modules (Slots) with 1 submodule
each
Important: Only an even number of modules (Slots) is allowed, i. e. 2, 4 or 6.
If this is disobeyed, the RE-46 will not work on your Controller!
