STEP FOUR: TESTING THE UNIT
3.1 FITTING & CHANGING OF THE BATTERY
1. Plug in the indoor unit. & switch on the unit, proceed with cooling mode.
2. After a few minutes, make sure that the indoor unit produces some cool air, and check for any
abnormal noise, vibration or water leakage from the air-vent.
3. Examine at the outdoor unit, check for any gas leakage or abnormal noise or vibration.
4. If you encounter any problem switch the unit off and contact help line on 0845 300 2577.
keep the quick connector connected, even when the air-conditioner is not in use, in order to
minimize the potential for refrigerant losses.
disconnect the quick connector, while the unit is in operation. After switching off the unit, wait at
least 5 minutes before opening the quick connector in order to equalize line pressures.
Opening the quick connector while the air-conditioner operates may damage the compressor.
use a damaged quick connector; do not drop it on hard surface while connecting or
disconnecting.
switch on the unit, until the installation is fully completed.
installation, switch on the unit for a few minutes. Check for potential fluid leakage on the quick
connector, as well as any abnormal noise or vibration while the unit is on operation.
Open the panel on the reverse of the remote control.
Insert the 2 x AA batteries.
Insert the batteries as per the direction in the battery compartment.
Reposition the compartment cover.
If there is no LED display, recheck the positioning of the batteries.
Do not mix new and old batteries.
Remove batteries when not in use for a long time.
Dispose of the batteries in a responsible manor.
