!
The outdoor unit should be installed on a firm and level surface to limit abnormal noises and
vibrations.
Do not allow the air outlet vents to become blocked or obstructed.
Avoid choosing a location exposed to the prevailing wind.
The maximum distance between the indoor and the outdoor unit should be 5 meters (length of the
copper pipe attached to the indoor unit). The maximum height between the indoor and the outdoor
unit should be 3 meter.
For minimum clearances see below.
When deciding upon the location of the outdoor unit beware for any restrictions that may be imposed
as a result of building regulation.
1
Install drainage of condensation: When operating in heating mode, the outdoor unit may generate
condensation which needs to be drained away. Insert the drain hose fitting into the 25mm hole in the
base of the chassis and connect the drain hose.
2
If installing on a wall or roof ensure that the brackets chosen are adequate against the most severe
weather conditions likely to be encountered.
