Place the product in a horizontal position then tilt it about 3º towards the condensate connection (s) so that 

the condensate can easily drain away when in operation. 

 

 

 

Ceiling mounted products (HRFL2) 

 

Products for ceiling void installation are equipped with pre-fitted hanging brackets and anti-vibration mounts. 

The integral brackets shall be used in conjunction with suitable threaded drop rods to facilitate  lifting and 

levelling. 

 

Ceiling mounted products are often suspended from the soffit with M8 or M10 threaded rod although wire rope 

suspension systems can also be used or the unit attached directly to the soffit via its hanging brackets. 

 

Depending on the type of building structure there can be a number of ways of attaching the suspension system, 

such as drilled-in fixings, clamps and clips, wedge nuts, powder actuated fixings, wire rope loop etc. 

 

The integrity of the false ceiling is vital to the acoustic design and should be installed with care. Any gaps 

between the edges of ceiling tiles will compromise the attenuation properties of the ceiling.  

 

Laser sights are effective in ensuring that ceiling grids are level and square so that ceiling tiles will all fit tightly.
