1. Getting started
Install the battery
Always switch the pager off and disconnect the charger before removing the
battery.
1. To remove the battery, press the
release button (1), lift it upwards
(2), and take the battery out.
2. To insert the battery, slide the
upper locking hooks of the battery
into the locking slots of the pager
body (1). Press the bottom part of
the battery into its position, until it
clicks (2).
Insert the smart card
Always switch the pager off and disconnect the charger before inserting the
smart card.
1. Remove the battery (see Install the battery on page 13).
2. Open the cover of the smart card slot.
