Most of the case, it is due to temporary error in sensing interior humidity.
Try to unplug the power cord for 10 seconds and reconnect it. If the

Can I add perfume
(aroma) products?

As a phenomenon damaging or breaking the surface can occur by reacting
with plastic products, please don’t use it.

When dust and smell are severe according to a use environment and it is
not washed more than one time per week(especially a rainy period), smell
can be generated.

If you dissolve proper amount of Lux or a washing agent to water and
wash it, the smell is removed
