5. The air spring assembly will be installed forward of the axle and there will be a left and
a right hand unit when installed, the holes in the upper bracket will be facing inboard
towards the center of the vehicle with the “finger” on the lower bracket facing the rear
(fig. 4). Once you orient the brackets correctly, align the upper and lower brackets so
they are parallel and tighten the flat head screws tight (15 ft/lbs max) (fig. 5).
