Steering system
The front steering is foot activated. The foot steering system may include a linkage to the
rear passenger footrest to allow passengers to steer if they are piloting (dual control
option). This linkage is adjusted by modifying the position of the ball joints of the tube to
allow it to adapt to the different positions of the fork and foot rest of the passenger.
Wheels and Brakes
Adjusting the Skypper brakes:
Unscrew the locknut located on the threaded
rod of the brake pump. Screw or unscrew the
rod to obtain desired setting. (Figure 6-1)
If equipped with three-brake option:
Screw or unscrew the pressure bolt located on the
pressure gauge of the brake pump to obtain desired
setting. (Figure 6-2)

The brake pads should be inspected during the 100-hour inspections of the wheels
bearings. If necessary, the pads should be replaced. As a guide brake pads should be
replaced if there is less than 2mm of pad remaining. At the same time the condition of the
disk, rim and other features of the Rim/Brake assembly should be thoroughly inspected
for signs of damage or wear.
