OPERATING MANUAL

 

 

WARNING:

 

1

 

Should any repairs become necessary that require 

welding on your FireBox, you MUST first  physically 

remove the Electronic Control Module (ECM) from the 

computer controlled Diesel engine.

Follow the instructions below.

 

Page i

 

ECM Removal Steps

 

1.

 

Unsnap Latches 1 and 2

 

2.

 

Remove Bolts A1 and A2

 

3.

 

Unplug both connectors

 

4.

 

Remove Bolts B1, B2, B3 and B4

 

5.

 

Remove the two brackets

 

6.

 

The ECM can now be removed and stored away

 

7.

 

Re

-

install all in reverse order.
