INTRODUCTION
Thank you for deciding to purchase the Utensil Strap from Aidapt. The Utensil Strap
is manufactured from the finest materials available. When used correctly it is
designed to give many years of reliable, trouble-free service.
Designed for use with these products from Aidapt:
VM914 Bendable Cutlery Set
VM911 Bendable Fork
VM910 Bendable Spoon
VM912 Bendable Rocker Knife
BEFORE USE
Carefully remove all packaging. Avoid using any knives of other sharp instruments
as this may damage the surface of the product.
Check the product for any visible damage If you see any damage or suspect a fault,
do not use your product, but contact your supplier for support.
INTENDED USE
The Utensil Strap has been designed to fit the Dining Aid range from Aidapt;
including the Bendable Spoon, Bendable Fork and Rocker Knife. The Utensil Strap
provides a secure way to hold the utensil, particularly for those with limited grip or
weakness in the hand and arm.
The Utensil Strap features a length of strong webbing with a loop on one end and a
Velco fastener on the other.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
•
Insert the handle of the Utensil through the loop of the Utensil Strap,
pushing the loop down to the base of the handle closest to the metal
utensil.

Open the Velcro fastener on the Utensil Strap and slip it down through the
loop at the end of the utensil, bringing it back onto itself to fasten.
•
The utensil can now be used as normal, with the Utensil Strap over the
back of the hand.
•
Assistance may be needed to further tighten the Utensil Strap to ensure a
snug fit for effective use.
