• Media Redirection Settings: This page is used to configure the media into BMC for
redirection.

General Settings: This option is used to configure General Media Settings.

VMedia Instance Settings: This page is used to configure Virtual Media device settings.

Remote Session: This page is used to configure virtual media configuration settings for
the next redirection session.
• Network Settings: The Network Settings Page is used to configure the network settings for
the available LAN channels.

Network IP Settings

Network Link Configuration: This page is used to configure the network link
configuration for available network interfaces.

DNS Configuration: The DNS Server settings page is used to manage the DNS settings
of a device.
• PAM Order Settings: This page is used to configure the PAM order for user authentication
into the BMC. It shows the list of available PAM modules supported in the BMC. Click and
Drag the required PAM module to change its order.
• Platform Event Filters: Platform Event Filter (PEF) provides a mechanism for configuring
the BMC to take selected actions on event messages that it receives or has internally
generated.

Event Filters: It shows all configured Event filters and available slots.

Alert Policies: It shows all configured Alert policies and available slots.

LAN Destinations: It shows all configured LAN destinations and available slots.

• Services : It shows current status and other basic information about the services. To
modify a service, user must be an Administrator.

Service Sessions: This page displays basic information about the Active sessions,
which are present in BMC from various services.

Service Configuration
• SMTP Settings : Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) is an Internet standard for electronic
mail (e-mail) transmission across Internet Protocol (IP) networks.
• SSL Settings : The Secure Socket Layer protocol was created by Netscape to ensure secure
transactions between web servers and browsers.

View SSL Certificate: It displays the basic information about the uploaded SSL
certificate.

Generate SSL Certificate: It is used to generate the SSL certificate based on
configuration details.

Upload SSL Certificate: It is used to upload the certificate and private key file into the
BMC.
• System Firewall: The System Firewall page allows you to configure the firewall settings.
The firewall rule can be set for an IP or range of IP Addresses or Port numbers. To view this
page, you must at least be an operator. Only administrators can add or delete a firewall.


• User Management : The User Management page allows you to view the current list of user
slots for the server. You can add a new user and modify or delete the existing users.
