TURNING ON/OFF THE LIGHT INDICATION

AND SOUND NOTIFICATION

Go to the settings mode to enable/disable the light

indication and sound notification.

To do this, hold the

START

button for 3

seconds with the thermometer turned off.

You will see the configurable parameter icon

and status

(beep on) or

OFF

(beep off)

on the display.

Press the

START

button to enable/disable

the sound notification.

Wait for 3 seconds and the thermometer will

switch to the light indication edit mode.

You will see the configurable parameter icon

and status

(backlight and distance

indicator light* are enabled) or

OFF

(backlight

and distance indicator light* are disabled) on

the display.

Press the

START

button to enable/disable

the light indication.

After you have selected the desired mode,

wait 4 seconds. The thermometer will save

the selected parameters and turn off auto

matically. The next time you turn on the ther

mometer, it will work according to the preset

parameters.

* For NC8C/NC8A models

SWITCHING BETWEEN ° C AND ° F

To switch between measurement modes:

Turn off the thermometer.

Press and hold the

START

button for 8

seconds. The thermometer will switch to the

measurement unit setting mode.

Press the

START

button to select the desired

measurement mode in ° C or ° F.
