1. Ensure that the pressure regulator valve is in position of by-pass in order that
the liquid retorun to the tank, et that the cocks valve are closed.
2. Before starting the motor, check the oil level. A sensor prevents the engine to
start if the oil level is too low.
3. Ensure that the engine contain fuel for starting.
4. The sprayer must be placed on a horizontal surface.
5. Fill the tank with the chemical product compound which has been prepared
beforehand, until it reaches a height about 3 cm below the bottom of the
loadind strainer.
6. Start the engine, following the instructions given in the chapter ”Operator’s
instructions” on use with the engine.
7. Increase the number of motor revs by turning the trottle; for fi rst 30 working
hours do not exceed ¾ of the opening distance.
8. Lock the lever of the regulator valve at the required pressure level and check
periodically if this level is maintained. Should the pressure have varied,
readjust it accordingly.
9. Open the cocks valve of the nozzles or sprayguns and increase the pressure
which allows perfect adjustment of the liquid fl ow; depending on the type of
the crops: the operator must adjust the pressure in the most suitable position.
10. To stop the spraying, open the lever of the regulator valve in by-pass posi-
tion and after close the cocks valves.
TEST OF USE : It is advisable spray the fi rst treatment with clean water to check
the following:
- correct work of the machine;
- correct calibration in lt/hectare of the machine;
- train yourself to become confi dent to all the operations you have to
perform when using the machine.
