Replacing the Ground Cable
The gr ou n d cable (gr een / yellow) can be r emoved wit h all ot her in ter ior
assemblies in p lace. To r emove it:

Remove all cables fr om t he exter ior of t he in str umen t, an d r emove t he

sh ield t o t he ch assis, an d r emove t he shield .

Discon n ect t he grou n d cable's in su lated con n ector fr om th e p ower
su p p ly.

Discon n ect t he groun d cable's n on - in sulated con n ector fr om t he
chassis.

Rou te t he grou n d cable p ast t he p ower su p ply an d power swit ch cable
an d r emove it.

fan s. To r emove it:

Remove t he two # 10 Tor x flat- head scr ews (on e at each side of t he
digitizer ) hold in g t he fron t p an el to th e chassis.

Remove t he two # 10 Tor x flat- head scr ews (at t he fron t p an el of t he
digitizer ) hold in g t he fron t p an el to th e chassis.

Remove t he # 10 Tor x flat- h ead scr ew (at th e cen ter- fron t of t he
bottom side of t he d igitizer ) h old in g t he fron t p an el t o t he chassis.

Remove th e pan el, but su p por t it if the disp lay cable is still con n ect ed
between t he car r ier board an d disp lay.
