Getting Started

Accessing the Web Interface

To  u se  the  Web  In ter face:

Make  an d  con figur e  a  LAN  con n ection .

digitizer 's  IP  ad dr ess  displayed  on   t he  fr on t  p an el  at  IDLE.

The  Web  In t er face's  `Welcome  Page'  ap p ear s  as  shown   below.

In order to access the Web Interface's Remote Control Page, you must have a 
Java-enabled browser. Internet Explorer 6.0 or later is recommended. 

The Java applet is signed. You may see a dialog from your browser requesting permission 
to run this applet, and may have to enable the applet to run.

You do not need to have the Agilent IO Libraries Suite software in order to access the Web 
Interface. However, if you do have the IO Libraries, you can start the interface from the 
Agilent Connection Expert program that is provided with the IO Libraries.

In some network configurations, a proxy server may prevent access to the instrument (i.e. 

page cannot be displayed ). In this situation, configure the proxy from the Internet 

browser such that the proxy is not used for (IP) addresses within the range of those that 
can be assigned to the L4532A/ 34A.
