Hardware Installation

Setting the Configuration Switches

The HP 82335 HP-IB interface is

only

supported with 32-bit and 16-bit

SICL on Windows 95. The HP 82335 is

not

supported on:

•

32-bit or 16-bit VISA on Windows 95

•

32-bit VISA or SICL on Windows

NT

In addition, SICL does

not

suppon interrupt, SRQ. or non-controller

functions with the HP 82335. If you require this functionality, you must use

the HP 82340 or HP 82341 HP-lE interface.

In most cases, you will not need to change the default switch setting.

However, if you are installing more than one HP 82335 interface. you will
need to change the switch settings on the additional interfaces so that each

one has a unique switch setting.
