Setting Up the Oscilloscope

To connect power

Position the oscilloscope so that it is not difficult to unplug the power cord.

Connect the power cord to the side panel of the oscilloscope and then to a
suitable ac voltage source (100 to 120 V, 50/60/400 Hz and 100 to 240 V, 50/60
Hz for the 9000 series). The power cord serves as the main disconnecting
device. The maximum power dissipation is 375 W.
The oscilloscope power supply automatically adjusts for line input voltages in
the range 100 to 240 VAC. Therefore, you do not need to adjust an input line
voltage setting. The line cord provided is matched by Agilent Technologies to
the country of origin of the order.

You should regularly check the condition of the power cord.
