*TST (Test)
*TST (Test)
The *TST query performs a self-test on the instrument. The result of the test
is placed in the output queue. A zero indicates the test passed and a non-zero
value indicates the test failed. If a test fails,
refer to “Step 5. Performing an
operational check” on page 2-8
.
Usage:
GPIB and RS-232
Query Syntax:
*TST?
Returned Format:
<result><NL>
Where:
<result> ::= 0 or non-zero value
0 indicates the test passed.
non-zero indicates the test failed.
Example:
OUTPUT 711;"*TST?"
ENTER 711;Result
