Returning 
Attenuators 
Under Warranty

“Bad contacts” attenuators are returnable under warranty while “burned out” 

attenuators are not. These terms are defined as follows:

“Bad Contacts”: Attenuation is within specifications at 8 GHz or higher; 
attenuation is at least 3 to 5 dB higher than specification at dc and 1 kHz.

“Burned Out”: Attenuation is at least 3 to 5 dB higher than specification 
at dc and entire rated frequency range.
