3-7 HYDRAULIC INSTALLATION
WARNING
TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL LOWER-
ING OF EQUIPMENT, WHICH CAN
CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH,
ALL HYDRAULICALLY ELEVATED
EQUIPMENT MUST BE LOCKED OUT
USING THE CYLINDER LOCKOUTS
OR LOWERED TO THE GROUND
DURING SERVICING OR WHEN
EQUIPMENT IS IDLE.
3-7.1 Install 90
o
adapters w/ restrictors in both
ports of the 5 x 36 fold cylinders (See Figure
3-9).
3-7.2 Install 90
o
elbow in both ports of the
three lift cylinders and the two disc adjust
cylinders (See Figures 3-7 and 3-8).
3-7.3 Install 90
o
elbows and straight adapters
in the manifold (See Figure 3-9) and attach
manifold to frame (front bar to right of mast)
using two 1/2-13 x 3-1/2 hex head cap
screws and hex lock nuts.
3-7.4 Install the hydraulic hoses as shown in
the hydraulic schematic (See Figures 3-7,
3-8, and 3-9). Route hoses through the hose
loops provided on the frame where possible.
Hoses going to cylinders on the wing should
pass under the mast and then on top of the
frame.
CAUTION
INSURE THERE IS ENOUGH SLACK
IN THE HOSES GOING TO THE WING
TO ALLOW ROOM FOR FOLDING THE
WING.
CAUTION
HOSES GOING TO THE DISC ADJUST
CYLINDER ON THE WING SHOULD
NOT PASS THROUGH THE FIRST
HOSE LOOP ON THE WING FRONT
BAR. THEY SHOULD GO DIRECTLY
TO THE LOOPS ON THE SAME TUBE
AS THE CYLINDER.
