INSTALLING THE DRAIN PLUMBING
This drain pump is designed to be installed in Marvel ice
machines only and approved for use with water only.

CAUTION
With a factory installed drain pump:
The
Marvel Drain Pump
is designed to remove drain water
from ice machines installed in areas without direct drainage
access. The sealed reservoir pump collects the melted ice
water and pumps it to a maximum lift of eight (8) feet (2.44
meters) using no more than the 20 feet of

If the ice machine has a factory installed drain pump. Dis-
charge tubing is coiled up and attached to the back of the
ice machine. The

inch I.D. tubing needs to be plumbed
and connected to a sanitary sewer. Refer to Figure 10.

Optional Drain Pump.
An optional drain pump is available if you have purchased
an ice machine without one and do not have access to a
gravity drain. Installation instructions are provided with the
optional drain pump. Contact AGA Marvel customer service
at 800-223-3900 or your dealer for ordering.
Electrical Shock Hazard
Risk of electrical shock or personal injury could occur
due to moving components, if the machine compart-
ment access cover is removed before unplugging the
ice machine power cord.
