19. Use a suitable cutting device and remove the 10-inch portion of ladder support
marked in Step 4. (See Figure 21.)
20. Before reinstalling the chutes, double check your installation to ensure there is
nothing that cotton will catch on. Welding slag, burrs, etc from the factory may
cause great inaccuracy due to stringers if they are not removed.
21. Reattach the chute on the machine and reattach the ladder.
22. After the mounting the plates are securely fastened, place the sensors into the
hinges. Hinge up and securely fasten the captive nuts. The Emitter is shown in
Figures 21. The Emitter (the unit with the cable) should be mounted on the
front side of the ducts (closest to the cab).
23. Check the lower telescoping chute and remove no more than 3 inches from the
top of the lower telescoping chute if there is interference.
